Police are trying to trace a cyclist after a woman was verbally abused on path near Normanston Drive in Lowestoft.
The incident happened on Sunday (March 6) at about 10am as the woman in her 40s walked along the Great Eastern Linear path under the bridge close to the cemetery.
A police spokesman said the cyclist became verbally abusive towards the woman for walking on the cycle path, despite there being plenty of room to get around. The spokesman said the man had persisted in being aggressive and abusive towards her before leaving.
Officers now need to trace the cyclist, who is described as white, in his 30s to early 40s, of medium build and wearing a dark baseball cap with LED lights on the peak.
Police are also keen to speak to anyone who may have seen what happened, particularly a man who was seen in the area pushing a pushchair.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Mark Brown at Lowestoft by dialling Suffolk Police on 101, quoting crime number 21755/16.
