Cyclist rushed to hospital with leg injury after crash with van at the junction of Nelson Road and Dereham Road in Norwich

A male cyclist has suffered a 'suspected broken leg' in a collision with a van.

The collision happened at the junction of Nelson Street and Dereham Road just before 9am today (Wednesday, April 26).

The man, in his 30s, was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further care.

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust sent a rapid response vehicle, ambulance crew and ambulance officer to the scene, and a response car from East Anglian Air Ambulance was also called in.

His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
