Cyclist hurt after being knocked off bike in Norwich

A cyclist was hurt after being involved in a crash with a car in Norwich.

Police were called to reports of a man being knocked off his bike on Whiffler Road at the junction with Drayton Road at about 11.30am today (Tuesday, December 20).

A police spokesman said the cyclist was hurt although the injuries were not thought to be life threatening or changing.

The incident led to Drayton Road being closed at Asda with a diversion put in place at the Asda traffic lights until the casualty had been removed from the scene.

The road was then re-opened at 12.10pm.
