A 40-year-old man has been charged with stealing hundreds of eggs over several dates from a business address in Riddlesworth, near Thetford.
Police arrested Trevor Perkins at his home in Croxton, near Thetford, on Wednesday.
He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for interview and was later charged with five counts of theft between September 20 and October 3.
He was also charged with cultivating cannabis. Perkins is on bail to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Thursday October 18.
