A charity concert poking fun at the historic rivalry between Cromer and Sheringham has raised more than £6,000 for the two towns' RNLI lifeboats and children's bereavement charity Nelson's Journey.
Staged for the fifth year running by Sheringham songsters the Shantymen and well-known Cromer-based writer, broadcaster and entertainer Keith Skipper, the show, which played to a sell-out audience, included maritime songs, as well as stories and a generous helping of 'Norfolk squit'.
Cheques were presented on the night to crew members from Cromer and Sheringham lifeboats and a representative from Nelson's Journey.
Keith, who recently launched his own publishing company, said the annual event was one of his favourite "do's" of the year.
He added: "It's great as I only have to walk down to the end of the pier and the Shantymen are not only extremely talented, they are also really good fun."
