Cromer councillors urged to ‘be courteous’ to each other

Cromer's mayor delivered a gentle ticking off to councillors after complaints about the 'tone and language' used at their previous monthly meeting.

At Monday night's full council, Greg Hayman said: 'Various councillors weren't particularly happy with the way some individual councillors conducted themselves in terms of the tone and the language that they used.

'Through the chair, they asked people to be as courteous to colleagues as possible.'

He added that he would not 'name names', but said: 'Please do not make other people feel uncomfortable.'
