A van was driven into four council bollards before being set on fire near Norwich prison.
Norfolk Police said the Citroen Berlingo was set alight on Britannia Road between 11pm and 12am on Monday, June 4.
It is believed the vehicle was moved from the car park opposite Cafe Britannia.
A police spokesman said: 'The Berlingo had been moved from its location in the car park and then driven into four county council bollards before being set alight.
'The bollards were also damaged.'
The incident is being treated as arson, police said.
