The body of a male, thought to be aged in his 50s, was found at about 4pm inside the flat.
Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service were called, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesman for Norfolk Police said: “The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are on-going to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
The man’s death is currently being treated as unexplained and this morning a Home Office post-mortem will be carried out to help establish the cause of death. A police cordon remains in place around the flat and the man will not be named until formal identification has taken place.
