Two children were found sleeping in the back of a car while not wearing seat belts after police stopped a vehicle this morning.

The silver Honda Jazz was stopped by the South Norfolk Police team on Aylsham Road, Norwich, at 10pm on Sunday April 22.

On Twitter, the South Norfolk Police team wrote on Twitter: “This vehicle was stopped because it had no lights on.

“The driver only holds a provisional licence and there were 2 children sleeping in the back without seatbelts on! #Unacceptable #Seized”

A member of South Norfolk Police said the driver was issued with a traffic offence report for all the offences.
