Three people have been arrested for drug offences in Norwich city centre.

Norfolk Police officers made the arrests at an address on Murrells Court at 12.35pm on March 5.

They seized a quantity of cannabis and Class A drugs.

A 17-year-old Middlesex boy was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of cannabis.

A 37-year-old man of no fixed address and a 39-year-old woman from the Norwich area were also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs and possession of cannabis.

All three remain in police custody.

The arrests were made under Operation Gravity - launched by Norfolk Police in 2016.

It intends to make life harder for London drug gangs funnelling crack and heroin into Norwich, Great Yarmouth and King’s Lynn.

Anyone with any information about drug dealing should call Norfolk Police on 101 quoting Operation Gravity.
