Norwich man charged in connection with burglary and fraud

A 43-year-old Norwich man has been charged in connection with a burglary and fraud.

Police said a handbag was stolen from an “insecure” property on Denmark Road in Norwich on Tuesday, May 15 between 10.30pm and 11.30pm.

Debit and credit cards from a purse inside the bag were then fraudulently used at a petrol station.

Terry Gardner, of Magdalen Close in Norwich, has been arrested and charged in connection with two burglaries and four offences of fraud.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Crown Court on June 21, 2018.
