Teenager in court charged with alleged Lowestoft robbery

A 19-year-old man from Lowestoft was due to appear in court today following a robbery in the town.

Police were called at about 10:45pm on Sunday, October 8, following reports that a teenage boy had been approached by a male who had threatened him with violence and had stolen his mobile phone in an alleyway off Clapham Road South.

Travis Aldred, of no fixed abode, was arrested on Wednesday, October 25, and has been charged with robbery.

He was due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court today, Friday, October 27.
