Teenage girl assaulted after woman demands she hand over ring in attempted robbery

A teenage girl was assaulted after a woman demanded she hand over a ring.

The victim, aged in her late teens, was walking along Kings Green towards Winston Churchill Drive, in King’s Lynn, when she was approached by a female who demanded she had over a ring.

When the victim refused, the suspect assaulted her before making off.

The victim suffered minor injuries to her face.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident at approximately 11.50pm on Friday, November 3.
