A teenage boy has been charged with possessing a weapon and cannabis in Norwich.

Police were called to Fiddlewood Park, in the north of the city, at around 7pm yesterday (Thursday, May 17) to reports of a man carrying a knife.

Specialist officers were sent to the scene and arrested a teenager. A knife was also seized.

A 15-year-old boy has since been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis.

He will appear at Norwich Youth Court on Tuesday, June 5.
