The death of a man on Sunday is not being treated as suspicious, police confirm.
Officers were called to Normanston Drive in Lowestoft by the East of England Ambulance Service shortly after 2.35pm on June 16 after reports a man's body was found.
The man, aged in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene and an investigation was launched.
After initially declaring the death as unexplained, officers at Suffolk Police have carried out extensive enquiries and, following a Home Office post-mortem on Monday, June 17, officers do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A police spokesperson confirmed the man's next of kin are aware and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
News of the death came 24 hours after emergency services had been called to the same street following the sudden death of a woman on Saturday.
The death of the woman, who was also aged in her 40s, is not believed to be suspicious and her next of kin have been informed.
Police have, however, confirmed that they do not believe the two deaths are linked.
