A second man was arrested for possession of a firearm, burglary and driving with excess drugs.
A police spokesman said: “The incident was a result of a proactive stop by police after seeing a vehicle parked up on the side of the road off the A10 and persons emerging from the undergrowth. Upon investigation officers discovered what they believed was stolen property including a shotgun.”
The two men, one in his late teens and the other in his late 20s from Lincolnshire and the Downham Market area, were released under investigation.
