Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Policing officers said they “stumbled across” the suspected stolen car at around 8pm.

A person was arrested and the car was seized.

While on the A11 near Thickthorn, police stopped a vehicle which was being driven “erratically”.

They found the car was not insured and did not have an MOT or tax, and the driver did not have a licence.

The vehicle was seized and the driver reported.

A man was also arrested by Mildenhall police for drink driving.

And the same officers took two lurchers into their care, who they suspected had been left behind by hare coursers.
