South Norfolk man and woman charged with drug offences

A man and a woman from near Diss have been charged with drug offences after being arrested when police stopped a car in Suffolk.

The pair were to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning after being arrested on Walsham Road at Ixworth, on the A143 road between Diss and Bury St Edmunds, on July 17.

Chasey Price, 22, of Bury Road, Rickinghall, was later charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and failure to provide a specimen for analysis.

Jasmine Elvin, 25, of Catchpole Walk, Dickleburgh, was charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B – cannabis.

They both appeared before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on July 19. Price was remanded in custody to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on August 16. Elvin was bailed to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on the same date.
