A sex offender who breached a court order by deleting his mobile phone's internet history has been jailed.
Anthony Bridgestock was also found to have deleted a messaging application from his phone when officers visited his home in South Brink, Wisbech.
This constituted a breach of a sexual harm prevention order, with police accusing him of covering up his internet use by deleting his surfing history.
The 32-year-old pleaded guilty to breaching a sexual harm prevention order on Friday, April 27.
He was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison.
DC Jim Howard, from Cambridgeshire Police, said: 'Bridgestock was fully aware of the terms of the order and tried to cover up his use of the internet by deleting the content.
