Twenty in custody as Norwich police have busy night

Assault, criminal damage and theft, these are just some of the crimes which landed 17 people in custody in Norwich on Saturday night.

Norwich Police have tweeted they had a busy a night on Saturday, starting the shift with three in custody and finishing the evening with 20.

“There will be a few people waking up in these corridors this morning. We started the evening with around three people in the cells, #Team3 ending the shift with 20 in custody.

“Assaults, criminal damage, theft, harassment. drunk and disorderly to name a few. Busy night tonight!”
