Organisers from Hainford village hall are holding their second quiz for 2011 as part of a string of quizzes to raise money towards repairs for the hall.

Teams are to be made up of between four and six people, and team members can change after each quiz night.

They will compete in a series of quizzes of the traditional Aubrey Ampleford method, accumulating points towards the annual shield, to be awarded at the end of the year. There will also be bonus points in each round.

Additional evening prizes will be awarded, as well as a raffle and a chance to win £1000.

Refreshments will also be available but people are welcome to bring their own drinks and food.

To take part please register a team name and number of members by March 4 by calling 01603 897821. The quiz cost £6 per team member. Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.45pm start on March 11. The third quiz will be April 15.
