Elderly man ‘devastated’ by the theft of beloved pugs

An elderly man has been left devastated by the theft of three of his pet pugs.

One of the dogs has now been returned after the trio - named Pricilla, Bridget and Flash - went missing from his shed at some point during the night.

They were reported by 80-year-old Michael Quinney as being stolen from his home in Wisbech Road, Westry, near March, Cambridgeshire on Sunday, December 17.

A statement from Cambridgeshire Police said: “One of the pugs has been found and has now been returned to Mr Quinney, who is said to be ‘devastated’ by the ordeal.”

No photographs of the missing pugs have been released at this stage.
