Police who stopped a car on the A47 found the driver did not hold a full licence and his young daughter was not wearing a seat belt.

Officers from the Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Policing Unit stopped the car on the A47 at North Burlingham on Saturday morning and found the driver’s seven-year-old daughter not wearing a seat belt in the rear of the car.

The driver was also found to only have a provisional driving licence and was on the road without supervision or ‘L’ plates.

Police tweeted: “Hadn’t declared provisional to insurance company, therefore not insured.”

The driver was reported for the offences.
