Police in Great Yarmouth are still trying to find a suspect who took part in an alleged robbery involving a samurai sword at the town’s main Tesco store.

The suspect is one of two offenders said to have robbed a man by the store on the morning of Tuesday, September 11 with one of the suspects possessing a samurai sword.

Following the report of the robbery armed police then sealed off Victoria Road later that day with officers entering a property, where no arrests were made.

A spokesman for Norfolk police officers are still making enquiries regarding the second suspect.

Police have arrested and released a 16-year-old male in connection with the robbery incident, in which clothes and jewellery were said to have been stolen from the victim’s car.

The victim sustained a minor injury that did not require treatment. A blunt samurai sword was recovered by officers.
