Police seized an uninsured vehicle last night which also had an eroded tyre and damage to the front wheel hub.
Officers said they came across the Ford Fiesa on Osborne Road, Wisbech.
A police spokesman said: “We have seized the vehicle for having no insurance, and you can see that there are a number of issues with it.
“The driver wasn’t around to talk to us about it. Don’t think it will pass its MOT, can you spot all the faults with it?”
One person said on social media: “Good grief! What a mess - how has the driver not been stopped before?”
Another added: “I saw this car being drove very erratically and thought it didn’t look road worthy.”
A third simply called it a “death trap” adding “that’s a disgrace of a motor”.
The fixed penalty charge for motorists caught driving uninsured is £300, a rise from £200 since August 2013, and six penalty points.
If the case goes to court, it could rise to a maximum £5,000 fine and a driving disqualification.
