Police are on the hunt for the driver of a 4x4 after it was involved in a collision on the A47.

A 4x4 or small van collided with a black Ford Fiesta which was being driven by a woman in her 20s who was later arrested for drug driving.

Police are trying trace the 4x4 or van driver after the incident on the A47 at Little Fransham earlier this week.

The black Ford Fiesta was travelling towards Swaffham at approximately 9.35pm on Monday, June 11 when it hit a 4x4 or a small van travelling in the opposite direction.

Both vehicles did not stop at the scene but the driver of the Ford Fiesta was later stopped by police and detained for driving whilst unfit through drugs.

She has since been released under investigation whilst enquiries are on-going.

Officers are now keen to trace the driver of the 4x4 or van. It is believed it may have sustained damaged to the nearside wing mirror.
