An Ipswich man has been charged with assaulting a Norwich City supporter at London's Liverpool Street Train Station in October.
Police were called to platform 10 of the station at around 7.20pm on Saturday, October 29 - when Ipswich Town had been playing in London, against Millwall - after reports that a man had been attacked.
Officers discovered a 19-year-old victim had been assaulted. A man they believed to be a rival football fan was arrested and has now charged.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: 'I can confirm that Adrian Taylor (45) of Pine Croft Road, Ipswich, has been charged with common assault. This relates to an incident at Liverpool Street station on 29 October 2011.
'Taylor will next appear at the City of London Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 11 January.'
