Police have used a camera drone in the search for a missing person in King's Lynn.

Inspector Lou Provart told the public of his decision to use the drone on Twitter and warned people not to panic.

He said: 'Please be aware that I have authorized the use of a police camera drone to help in the search of a missing person in King's Lynn.

'If you see it, it is for no other purpose so don't be alarmed. Helps cover greater ground much more efficiently.'

Police have not released the identity of the missing person, but Insp Provart has since confirmed they have been found.
