Police called out to incident involving a knife in Norwich

Police were called out to an incident involving a knife in Norwich.

The incident happened last night at Frere Road and one man was taken to hospital with minor injurires.

A Norfolk police spokesman said: “Police were called to a piece of land in Frere Road in Norwich just after 5pm yesterday evening to reports a man had suffered a knife wound.

“The man was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries to his leg.

“This is believed to be an isolated incident where those involved are known to each other and our enquires are ongoing.”
