A passenger of a van, pulled over by Norwich police on the A47, was found sitting on a child's red plastic chair.
The van was stopped yesterday at about 3.15pm along a section of the road at Halvergate, near Acle, by Norfolk and Suffolk's Roads Policing team.
As well as the discovery of what appeared to be a child's seat the driver also had no valid licence.
In a tweet posted from the @NSRoadsPolicing account the team said it was 'not safe or legal'.
A police spokesman confirmed that the driver has been reported for using a vehicle in a dangerous condition as a result of passenger loading, as well as driving with a revoked licence and suspicion of having no insurance.
