Norfolk Constabulary's diversity manager will stand trial next year after he denied fraud offences.

Abraham Eshetu, of Orchard Street, Norwich, is accused of two counts of fraud in relation to falsely applying for and being granted media accreditation passes to both the 2014 and 2015 World of Music and Dance festivals in Wiltshire for himself and others.

The 41-year-old, who is employed by the police and currently suspended, appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court today where he entered not guilty pleas to both charges.

The case was adjourned for the trial which has been put into the warned list for March 13 next year.

He was granted bail.
