Police arrest wanted man after receiving public’s help

Police have arrested 34-year-old Richard Duggan who was wanted on recall to prison.

In a brief statement on Thursday night Norfolk Police said: “Police can confirm a 34-year-old Swaffham man wanted on recall to prison has been arrested.

“Richard Duggan, of no fixed abode, was detained in Sporle this evening.”

Police had in an earlier Tweet appealed for help from the public in tracing Duggan.

“We are looking for Richard who is wanted. Have you seen him? He has links with Sporle, Watton and Swaffham.”

Police said he had been arrested “thanks to the public’s help”.
