Police are trying to establish why an envelope containing cash was posted through a letterbox.
The mystery delivery was reported to police by a householder in the village of Metfield, on the Norfolk/Suffolk border close to Harleston. The resident found an un-addressed envelope posted through their letterbox containing a quantity of money they know nothing about.
A police spokesman said the resident have an idea what it might be in relation to, but, with no details on the envelope, the intentions of the individual posting the cash are uncertain.
If you are the person who posted the cash or you have any information, call Suffolk Police on 101, quoting Property Ref. SC190013922 explaining your intentions for the cash so it can be returned to the finder if appropriate. Anonimity will remain if requested.
