Three people who attended an unlicensed music event at Barton Bendish, between Swaffham and Downham Market at the weekend have been arrested.

Police said two men aged in their 20s from the Great Yarmouth area and a man in his late teens from Larling remain at Kings Lynn Police Investigation Centre awaiting questioning.

It follows an incident which happened on Sunday morning when officers were called at 8am regarding suspicious activity along the Beechamwell Road.

They arrived on scene to find an unlicensed music event in progress which at its peak was attended by more than 100 people, with 50 vehicles on the site.

Police vehicles were then used to close entrances to the site to prevent further revellers from entering.

The event was monitored throughout the day until the site cleared by 6.30pm.

Anyone with information about the event should call Norfolk police on 101.
