Police arrested two suspected shoplifters andd recovered goods including spirits and designer clothing.

They swooped at Tesco, at Hunstanton, yesterday afternoon.

One man was collared inside the store. The other was arrested hiding in bushes in the nearby cemetery.

Police tweeted: “One was detained in store and one was found hiding in the bushes at Hunstanton cemetery. Officers managed to link them to a car with a large amount of stolen items from various other shops.”

Goods recovered included tops by Ralph Lauren, Trussard and Michael Kors, and spirits including brandy and Jack Daniels.
