Man stamped on in assault in King’s Lynn

A 20-year-old man was punched and stamped on in an assault in King’s Lynn.

It happened shortly before 1pm on Saturday, October 8 in Loke Road.

Police said the victim was punched in the face, punched to the ground and stamped on.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn to be treated for cuts and bruises.

An 18-year-old man from the local area has been arrested in connection with the incident.

He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
