A man's body was found in an isolated spot near King's Lynn six days after he was reported missing by police, an inquest heard.
Today's King's Lynn inquest heard that, shortly before gas engineer Niel Solomon, 41, from Middleton, went missing, police had arrived at his home with a warrant for his arrest, for failing to report to court.
He had previously been charged with drink-driving, dangerous driving, assault, and possessing an offensive weapon.
Mr Solomon, whose body was found at Leziate Lakes following a police search on March 20, had a history of self-harming, anxiety and depression.
His wife Kelly said in a statement read to court that they had been married eight years and had a four-year-old child together.
The cause of death was given as nitrogen gas hypoxia, and assistant coroner for Norfolk, David Osborne's conclusion was suicide.
