A man was beaten and kicked by a gang of youths on bikes, before they stole £60 and pedalled off.

Police say it happened on Tuesday, June 26, between 6.15pm and 6.30pm when the victim, an 18-year-old man, was attacked by a group of youths whilst he was sitting on a bench in St Faiths Drive, Gaywood.

They say the suspects repeatedly kicked the victim before demanding and stealing around £60 in cash. They then fled the scene on push bikes.

As a result of the incident, the victim required hospital treatment for facial injuries.

Three boys, two aged 15 and one aged 13, were arrested in connection with the incident. They have been bailed until July 23, pending further enquiries.

Witnesses or anyone who has information regarding the incident should call Det Con Emma Cross at King’s Lynn CID on 101.
