A man has appeared at Norwich Crown Court in connection with drug offences, in Gorleston.

Jermaine Marshall, 29, from Sidthorpe Road, London, has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and one count of possessing criminal property.

Marshall, who appeared via video link from Norwich Prison, did not have any charges put to him at the brief hearing and did not enter any pleas to any of the charges.

Judge Anthony Bate adjourned his case until June 18 for a further hearing.

He further remanded Marshall into custody.

Chris Youell appeared for the prosecution.

Marshall was arrested after police had been called to an address in Beach Road.

Two 15-year-old boys from the London area were also arrested in connection with the incident and they have since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
