A man has been rushed to hospital with a “severe” head injury, having been attacked by a group of men and a woman in Norwich.
The victim in his 30s was at the Morrison’s valet service in Riverside retail park yesterday afternoon, when three men and a woman attacked him.
They kicked, punched, and hit the man with a broom handle, leaving him with a suspected fractured skull.
Police were called to the retail park at 2.25pm on June 14.
The woman in her 40s was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning where she remains in custody. She was then arrested on suspicion of assault.
Ambulance services were later called to the scene, and took the man to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
A police seal was initially placed on the petrol station near the Nike outlet store, but was later lifted.
The police are investigating the incident and are asking for witnesses with information to call Norwich CID on 101.
