Man charged with drug offences after arrest in Norwich

A man has been charged in connection with drug offences in Norwich.

Officers stopped a man in Suffolk Square at approximately 4.15pm on Monday February 5 and seized a knife and a quantity of Class A drugs.

Zakariya Sulaiman, 18, who is from London, was charged in connection with the incident.

Sulaiman appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court today.

He was charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, one count of possession of a knife and one count of obstructing a drug search.

Sulaiman was remanded into custody to appear before Norwich Crown Court on Wednesday March 7.
