Man charged with robbery at bar on Prince of Wales Road in Norwich

A man has been charged in connection with a robbery on Prince of Wales Road in Norwich.

Officers were approached at 11.10pm on Friday May 11 by the victim who stated he had been robbed at knife point in a nearby bar.

Following enquiries police found the man in a different venue on Prince of Wales Road and arrested him over the robbery.

Aaron Hewson, 28, from Norwich was later charged in connection with the incident, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.

He was due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court for his first hearing on Monday morning.
