Man charged with possession of drugs after crash involving lorry carrying chickens

A man has been charged after a crash which saw four vehicles - including a lorry carrying chickens - damaged in Swaffham.

A man has been charged after a crash which saw four vehicles - including a lorry carrying chickens - damaged in Swaffham.

Brandon Road was closed after the incident, which happened at roughly 3.45am on Monday morning.

One person was arrested at the scene and police say a man has now been charged with failing to provide a specimen and being in possession of Class B drugs.

They said he is due to appear in court on Tuesday morning.
