Man attacked with hammer in early hours of the morning in Norwich

A man is believed to have been attacked with a hammer in the early hours of the morning in Bull Close Road in Norwich.

Officers were called at 4.45am on Thursday to find two injured men. One man with non-life threatening head injuries and the other with minor hand injuries.

Both men were taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) for treatment.

Officers have been making enquiries in the surrounding area including Magpie Road where the initial incident is believed to have taken place.

Enquiries are on-going and police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning it.
