A man in his late teens suffered a fractured ankle following an assault in King’s Lynn.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the man was attacked at the weekend.

It happened in the early hours of Saturday morning, June 16, around 4am when the victim, a man aged in his late teens, was walking home through the Austin Fields Industrial Estate.

He has been approached by a group of men, who shouted verbal abuse before punching him.

The victim sustained a fractured right ankle, bruises and swelling as a result of the incident.

Officers are keen to speak to any witnesses, or anyone with information. They’re asked to contact DC Larissa Foreman from King’s Lynn CID on 101.
