A Beccles man faces a number of charges, including obstructing police.

Myron Edwin Dodd, of no fixed abode, was arrested on May 8 on suspicion of being in possession of a knife blade.

The 21-year-old faces four charges: obstructing a police constable, using a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance, driving whilst disqualified and failing to surrender to police.

He is accused of driving a Ford Focus index SG55 ZFM on Salhouse Road without third party insurance whilst disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence.

The final charge relates to May 25 when he is accused of failing to surrender to custody at Norwich Magistrates’ Court, having been released on bail at Aylsham Police Investigation Centre on May 8.

The first hearing will take place at Ipswich Crown Court on October 12.
