Police in Lowestoft stopped a driver who was allegedly under the influence of, and in possession of, drugs.

Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team tweeted just after 6.30pm on Wednesday to say there had been “great teamwork” in stopping the vehicle.

The tweet said: “Driver was found in possession of drugs and was drug driving after testing positive for both cannabis and cocaine.

“The vehicle was also found to be in a dangerous condition.”
