Three people have denied charges of assault and threatening behaviour against para show jumper Susi Rogers-Hartley.

Peter Shackloth, 56, and Kyle Fenton, 20, both of Lynn Road, Wiggenhall St. Germans, near King’s Lynn, apppeared before Lynn magistrates on Thursday morning charged with using threatening behaviour against Ms Rogers-Hartley and possession of an offensive weapon on August 20 last year.

Fenton was also charged with assaulting Ms Rogers-Hartley.

The third defendant, aged 17 who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with assaulting Ms Rogers-Hartley and two other people, using threatening behaviour and criminal damage.

All three defendants, who were released on unconditional bail, denied the charges. Shackloth and Fenton will reappear in Lynn magistrates’ court on June 18 and 20 and the third will be in youth court on April 24.
