A man has been charged with threatening behaviour less than a week after being found not guilty of murder, it has emerged.
John Monk, 44, of Albini Way, Wymondham, is accused of using threatening words towards another man on Bridewell Street in Wymondham on Boxing Day at about 12.45pm.
He has been released on bail to appear before Norwich Magistrates Court on Tuesday, January 16.
On December 20 John Monk was cleared of murdering 26-year-old Nick Rogers who died in hospital the day after he was attacked in Morrisons supermarket in Wymondham on July 17 last year.
Following a trial at Norwich Crown Court John's nephew Lee Monk, 20, was found guilty of manslaughter.
Both John and Lee were also found not guilty of a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in relation to a friend of Mr Rogers' who was with him at the time.
Lee Monk will be sentenced on February 1.
