Jewellery stolen in village break-in

Jewellery was stolen after a break-in in a rural village.

A property in Basin Road, Outwell, near Wisbech was broken into between 2.30pm and 8.45pm on Thursday, February 15.

Jewellery and a safe containing jewellery were stolen.

In a second incident, a property in Croft Road, Upwell, also near Wisbech, was broken into between 8.30am and 11.50pm on Thursday, February 15.

It is not yet known yet whether anything has been stolen.

Police are investigating the possibilities that both incidents are linked.
